You have type 4A hair if your hair has tight coils and the strands have a defined “s” shape curl pattern. Your coils are either fine or wiry with the circumference of a crochet needle.  Type 4A hair tends to retain moisture fairly well, but as with most curly hair types it is still prone to dryness. 

Wash n’ go styles are a great option for you to keep this coily texture popping and it can be easily done with the right products and techniques.  For daily wash n’ go styles, a curling cream with a leave-in conditioner is best for this hair type.
