Women with type 3C hair have strands that are densely packed together, creating lots of natural volume.  Type 3C is a curly hair type made up of tight corkscrews that range in circumference from a straw to a pencil.  3C hair texture is full of tight curls

Sometimes, called “curly-coily” hair due to its high density, 3C hair tends to have the highest amount of volume, but this also means it tends to have the most shrinkage.  Frizziness can be an issue so choose styles without heat such as a flexi-rod set, twist-out or a set of perm rods.
