Do I have Type 3A Hair?

START HERE, if you are beginning a new hair journey or would like to understand more about your hair but you’re not sure where to start. This article explains about the characteristics of 3A hair. Type 3A hair is defined by loose curls that are about the circumference of a piece of sidewalk chalk. The hair tends to be shiny and looks like an S-shape.

Because type 3A is prone to frizziness, use light products that will give your hair a nice hold.  If you are looking for more curl definition, try to twirl tiny sections of curls around your finger when your hair is damp.
