Hair type 3B have curls that are well defined with less space between each bend and curve than 3A curls. Your curls are very springy and can vary from corkscrews, with a circumference similar to a Sharpie marker to ringlets. Type 3B hair is also very voluminous. The texture can be coarse and dense.
Because this hair texture can get dry, use products that are lightweight and cleansers that are sulfate and silicone free to prevent buildup. Also look for styling gels that have humectants in them to retain moisture in the strands.
